Jane Roberts Fine Arts
In 1990, Jane Roberts left London after many years and returned to live in Paris, where she had in her youth studied Art and Art History and worked at the Cabinet des Dessins at the Louvre, to set up a consultancy by appointment only. As well as offering a constantly changing selection of paintings and works on paper, she also provides her mainly British or American clients with welcome help in buying privately or bidding at auction in France or elsewhere. She also appraises works for insurance purposes and has been a member of the “Compagnie Nationale des Experts” since 2007.
In December 2019, Jane Roberts published the online “catalogue raisonné” of the works by Jacques-Emile Blanche (1861-1942), about whom she had already written a monograph in 2012.
In 2011, Jane Roberts was made a « Chevalier de l'Ordre des Arts et Lettres » for her services to French culture.
