Painter, writer and a key figure of the Belle Epoque ,the twenties and thirties both in Paris and London, Jacques-Emile Blanche (1861-1942)  excelled as a major portraitist of his time.

The first and long-awaited richly illustrated monograph on Jacques-Emile Blanche will be published in English by Gourcuff Gradenigo and distributed by the Antique Collectors Club in October 2012.

An exhibition "Du Côté de chez Jacques-Emile Blanche. Un salon imaginaire en 1900" will be held at the Fondation Pierre Bergé - Yves Saint Laurent from 9th October until 27th January 2013.
